Wednesday, September 09, 2015 – Palm Springs, CA - Beginning on Thursday, September 10th the Palm Springs Public Library will have a representative on site to talk with families about qualifying and to sign-up for CAL Fresh services. CAL Fresh, formerly known as food stamps, provides nutrition assistance to people with low income. It can help to buy nutritious foods for a better diet. The representative will be on-site from 10:30—11:30 a.m. the second Thursday of each month for the next three months to assist families in completing their applications.
